The Dancer statue is a monumental cubist sculpture. The image is depicted from differing vanishing points to appear as if in several different places simultaneously. The figure has a human face and component planes of irregular geometric solids, cubes, rectangles and spheres that meet at sharp angles. Impasto surface. Classically cubist. Monumentally modern.
